Instructions
Toss chicken with cornstarch and salt. Stir-fry in oil until golden, then set aside.
Stir-fry garlic, ginger, and Szechuan peppercorns for 30 seconds. Add bell peppers and cook 2-3 minutes.
Return chicken to pan. Add soy sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, hoisin, sesame oil, sugar, and green onions. Cook 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Adjust salt if needed. Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with nuts and extra green onions.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle with chopped peanuts or cashews before serving.
