0.5tsponion powder
1tspbrown sugar (or honey)
0.25cupBBQ sauce (optional, for glazing)
0.5tspchili powder (optional for heat)
1tsplemon zest (optional for citrus twist)
Instructions
Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
Mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, and brown sugar or honey to create the marinade. Coat chicken and rest for 10–15 minutes.
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (204°C). Place chicken in a single layer in the basket.
Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flip, then cook another 4–6 minutes. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last 2 minutes if using.
Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) before serving.
