A delicious appetizer combining roasted butternut squash and sweet apples on toasted bread, topped with ricotta and a balsamic drizzle.
Ingredients

butternut squash, diced

Crunch Pak Sweet Apple Slices, diced

olive oil, divided

tsp
ground cinnamon

ground nutmeg

allspice

ground cloves

french bread

cup
ricotta cheese
4
cloves
garlic, minced

leaves
fresh sage, chopped

tbsp
balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Toss squash and apples with 2 tbsp olive oil, spices, salt, and pepper. Roast 15 mins.
Brush bread slices with remaining olive oil and toast 4-5 mins.
Mix ricotta with salt and pepper. Sauté garlic and sage in remaining oil 1-2 mins.
Top toasted bread with ricotta, roasted squash and apples, then drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Serve.
Notes
Use fresh sage for best flavor and keep an eye on toasting time for perfect crostini.
