Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares.
Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth. Spread on pastry squares.
Top with sliced apples and drizzle with lemon juice and brown sugar.
Fold edges slightly to contain filling and brush with beaten egg mixed with milk.
Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown. Optional: dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For a crispier crust, bake a few extra minutes and keep an eye on it.
