Instructions
Activate yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar, then mix with eggs and flour to form dough. Let rise for 1 hour.
Prepare apple filling by cooking apples with sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cornstarch until thickened.
Roll out dough, spread apple filling, then roll into a log and cut into slices. Place in baking dish and let rise for 20 minutes.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes until golden.
Mix cream cheese, browned butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla to make frosting. Spread over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh apples and ensure dough is properly risen before baking.
