Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or silicone liner.
Mix sliced apples with sugar, lemon juice, flour, spices, and salt.
Roll pastry into a 13-inch circle, transfer to prepared pan, and arrange apple filling inside, leaving a 2-inch border.
Fold edges over filling, pleating as needed. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with coarse sugar, and dot with butter.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.
