Instructions
Thaw puff pastry, then preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Cook apples with butter, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and salt until soft, then cool in refrigerator.
Cut pastry into 4 squares, seal edges with egg wash, fill with apple mixture, fold into triangles, and brush with egg. Sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden, then cool slightly.
Mix powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon to make glaze, then drizzle over turnovers before serving.
Notes
For a crispier crust, brush with egg wash and sprinkle turbinado sugar just before baking.
