Ingredients

Meat

  • 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Toppings & Sides

  • Warm pita bread
  • Authentic Greek Tzatziki Sauce
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Thinly sliced red onion
  • Shredded lettuce or sliced cucumber

Instructions 

  • Whisk olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Add chicken, toss to coat, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Cook chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5–7 minutes per side until cooked through.
  • Rest chicken for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
  • Serve in pita with tzatziki and toppings.
