This quick and flavorful baked chicken combines crunchy cornflakes with a spicy honey glaze for a delicious meal in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 beaten eggs eggs
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • Mix flour with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Place flour, eggs, and cornflakes in separate bowls.
  • Coat chicken pieces in flour, then egg, then cornflakes. Arrange on baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until cooked through. Meanwhile, mix honey, hot sauce, and melted butter.
  • Pour sauce over hot chicken and serve.

Notes

For extra crunch, double coat the chicken in cornflakes.
