A delicious and healthy dessert featuring baked pears filled with a sweet, nutty oat and pecan mixture, perfect for cozy evenings.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 2 pieces bosc pears (halved)
  • 1/2 cup gluten free oats
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Halve pears, scoop seeds, and trim bottoms for stability.
  • Mix oats, maple syrup, pecans, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Stuff pears with the mixture and place in a greased baking dish.
  • Bake for 40-50 minutes until pears are soft and topping is crisp.
