10tablespoonsunsalted butter, softened
3/4cuppacked brown sugar
3/4cupgranulated sugar
3largeeggs, room temperature
1-1/2teaspoonsvanilla extract
3mediumripe bananas, mashed
2-1/3cupsall-purpose flour
1-1/2teaspoonsbaking powder
1-1/2teaspoonsground cinnamon
1teaspoonsalt
3/4cupwhole or 2% milk
1cupminiature semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.
Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in mashed bananas.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture, alternating with milk, until smooth. Stir in 2/3 cup chocolate chips.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top. Bake for 34-38 minutes until a tester comes out clean. Cool completely.
Notes
For extra chocolate flavor, stir the full cup of chocolate chips into the batter instead of just 2/3 cup.
