Ingredients

Fruits

  • 3 pieces ripe bananas
  • 0.75 cup melted butter
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • a pinch salt
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line muffin tin.
  • Mash bananas until smooth. Mix in melted butter and sugar.
  • Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Stir in baking soda and salt.
  • Gradually fold in flour, then fold in chocolate chips.
  • Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 18-20 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of chopped nuts or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
