A delicious and easy-to-make flatbread topped with smoky barbecue chicken, cheese, and fresh cilantro for a flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Flatbreads

  • 2 pieces flatbreads (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • Brush flatbreads with olive oil and place on the sheet.
  • Toss shredded chicken with half of the barbecue sauce.
  • Spread remaining barbecue sauce on flatbreads, top with cheeses, chicken, and onions.
  • Bake 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and flatbread is crisp. Garnish with cilantro.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a drizzle of honey or hot sauce before serving.
