A delicious overnight breakfast casserole combining blueberries, cream cheese, and cinnamon, topped with a sweet buttermilk syrup.

Instructions
Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan and layer half of bread cubes.
Scatter cream cheese cubes and blueberries over bread, then top with remaining bread cubes.
Whisk eggs, syrup, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon; pour over the layered bread. Cover and chill overnight.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake covered for 40 minutes, then uncover and bake 30 more minutes until golden.
Prepare buttermilk syrup by boiling sugar, butter, and buttermilk; add baking soda, vanilla, and salt. Serve warm.
Notes
For best results, prepare the casserole the night before and bake fresh in the morning.
