A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring crisp apple slices and sharp cheddar for a sweet and savory treat.

red apple

Instructions
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Spread butter on one side of each bread slice; flip and drizzle balsamic vinegar on the other side.
Layer cheese, apple slices, then more cheese on the bread with vinegar; top with remaining slices, butter side out.
Cook sandwiches in skillet for 3-4 minutes until golden; flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until cheese melts.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of black pepper or a sprinkle of herbs.
