These flaky, cheesy drop biscuits are infused with fresh chives, perfect for breakfast or as a side dish.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Mix in cheddar cheese and chives. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.
Scoop 1/4 cup portions onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing evenly. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
Notes
For flakier biscuits, handle the dough minimally and avoid overmixing.
