Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheddar cheese and milk until just combined.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet. Brush tops with melted butter.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or paprika to the dry ingredients.
