A creamy and cheesy baked pasta dish combining tender chicken, rich Alfredo sauce, and melty cheese for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 ounces Penne pasta (This pasta shape holds the sauce well and adds a delightful texture.)

Protein

  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded (Use rotisserie or cooked chicken breasts.)

Sauce

  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (Homemade or store-bought, provides creaminess and flavor.)

Cheese

  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese (Melts beautifully for a gooey topping.)
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese (Adds a sharp, nutty flavor.)

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder (For flavor enhancement.)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (Herb blend to enhance taste.)
  • to taste Salt and pepper (Season to preference.)

Fresh herbs

  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped (Adds color and freshness.)

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  • Mix cooked pasta, shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a squeeze of lemon juice.
