A creamy and flavorful Chicken Alfredo Pasta combines tender chicken, rich sauce, and al dente pasta for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 3 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 pounds)
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper (for seasoning)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for cooking)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces fettuccine or your favorite pasta
  • Extra Parmesan cheese Extra Parmesan cheese (for garnish)
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional) Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in olive oil until golden and cooked through, then rest.
  • Melt butter in skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  • Add heavy cream and Parmesan, whisk until smooth and thickened.
  • Cook pasta until al dente, drain, reserving some water.
  • Slice chicken, add pasta and chicken to sauce, toss, and adjust consistency with reserved water. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
