A quick and creamy skillet dish featuring tender chicken breasts, savory mushrooms, and fresh spinach in a rich sauce.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste Salt and black pepper (to season chicken)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 oz cremini or white mushrooms, sliced
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Red pepper flakes red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken dry, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in skillet, cook chicken 5-7 mins per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Add remaining butter, sauté mushrooms 5 mins until tender. Add garlic, cook 1 min.
  • Pour in chicken broth, stir to deglaze. Add heavy cream, simmer 3-4 mins until thickened.
  • Stir in spinach until wilted, add Parmesan if using. Return chicken to skillet, cook 2-3 mins. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes.

Notes

Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) for safety.
