A quick and flavorful twist on classic Sloppy Joes using chicken or turkey, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or ground turkey)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • Buns of choice buns

Instructions 

  • Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.
  • Sauté onion until translucent, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Add chicken to skillet, cook until no longer pink (5-7 min).
  • Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire, brown sugar, and mustard; simmer 5 min.
  • Spoon mixture onto buns and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add pickles or coleslaw as toppings.
