A quick and delicious one-pan meal featuring tender beef and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

Beef and Broccoli

  • 500 g beef sirloin, sliced (thinly sliced against the grain)
  • 300 g broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (for thickening)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions 

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Add broccoli and stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
  • Mix soy sauce and cornstarch with water, then add to the pan.
  • Cook until sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
