A quick and delicious one-pan meal featuring tender beef and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

Beef and Broccoli

  • 500 g beef sirloin, sliced (thinly sliced against the grain)
  • 300 g broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions 

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce and cornstarch to create a marinade for the beef.
  • Marinate the beef for 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and stir-fry the beef until browned.
  • Add broccoli and stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
  • Pour in remaining marinade and cook until sauce thickens.
  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
