A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring ground beef and fresh cabbage, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

Vegetables

  • 4 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 green onions chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions 

  • Prepare ingredients: mince garlic and ginger, slice cabbage.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground beef; cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in garlic and ginger; sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add cabbage; cook until slightly wilted, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in soy sauce, mix well, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Drizzle sesame oil and garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar or chili sauce.
