Delicious and healthy chocolate coconut oat squares perfect for a quick snack or dessert.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup shredded coconut, unsweetened
  • 0.5 cup almond flour
  • 0.5 cup maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.125 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Chocolate Topping

  • 0.33 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Mix oats, shredded coconut, almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla, then combine with dry ingredients.
  • Press mixture into the prepared dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are browned.
  • Melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth. Pour over baked squares and let set.
  • Cool completely, then slice into 16 pieces and serve.
