A rustic and delicious French-inspired apple galette with warm cinnamon flavors, perfect for a cozy dessert.
Ingredients
Dough

Filling

Instructions
Mix flour, sugar, and salt; cut in butter until crumbly. Add ice water, form into disk, and chill for 30 minutes.
Toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and flour.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out dough into a 12-inch circle and place on a baking sheet.
Add apple filling in center, fold edges to create pleats, brush with egg, and sprinkle coarse sugar if desired.
Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and apples are tender. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Chill the dough well for best results and serve warm for maximum flavor.
