Cinnamon Apple Pull-Apart Bread

A deliciously sweet and cinnamon-spiced bread with apple chunks, perfect for sharing and breakfast treats.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 0.75 cup warm milk (around 115 F)
  • 1 pkg active dry yeast
  • 3 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg egg
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 large apple (diced)
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions 

  • Combine warm milk and yeast, let sit until foamy (10 min).
  • Mix egg and sugar, add melted butter and yeast mixture. Add salt and half of flour, beat 30 sec. Add remaining flour and knead into dough.
  • Let dough rise in a greased bowl until nearly doubled (about 1 hour).
  • Roll out dough into a 20x12 inch rectangle. Spread with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar, and add diced apple. Cut into strips, stack, and place in a greased pan. Let rise 30 min.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 35 min, covering with foil last 10 min. Cool 15 min, then drizzle with glaze.

Notes

Ensure dough is kneaded well for a soft texture. Adjust glaze consistency with milk as needed.
