A festive and flavorful cheese ball combining cream cheese, cheddar, cranberries, and pecans, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Dairy

  • 16 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 113 grams white cheddar cheese (shredded)

Fruits and Nuts

  • 130 grams dried cranberries (roughly chopped, divided)
  • 109 grams pecans (finely chopped, divided)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives (chopped, divided)

Instructions 

  • Beat cream cheese, cheddar, ½ cranberries, ½ pecans, and 1 tablespoon chives until combined.
  • Shape mixture into a ball using greased hands, wrap in plastic, and chill for 1 hour.
  • Mix remaining cranberries, pecans, and chives on a plate.
  • Remove cheese ball from fridge, unwrap, and roll in the cranberry, pecan, and chive mixture.
  • Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving with crackers.
