Delight in these sweet and tart cranberry oat bars, perfect for a quick snack or dessert.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 0.75 cup butter, softened to room temperature
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 1.5 cups rolled oats
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 0.33 cup pecans, finely crushed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in oats, flour, vanilla, baking powder, and salt.
  • Press mixture into a 9-inch square pan. Spread cranberry sauce on top.
  • Make topping: melt butter, stir in brown sugar, oats, pecans, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over cranberry layer.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden. Cool and cut into 9 squares.
