Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz Penne Pasta (Cooks to al dente for the perfect bite.)
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets (Can be swapped with cauliflower or spinach.)

Protein

  • 1 lb Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast (Can be replaced with turkey or shrimp.)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil (Essential for sautéing.)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (Minced. Adjust amount to suit garlic preference.)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (Can substitute with half-and-half or Greek yogurt.)
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (Add nutritional yeast for a vegan alternative.)
  • to taste Salt (Always adjust to enhance flavors.)
  • to taste Pepper (Always adjust to enhance flavors.)
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning (Optional. Elevates flavor profile.)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley (Chopped. Adds freshness and color.)

Instructions 

  • Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  • Add broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  • Pour in heavy cream, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until the sauce is smooth and heated through.
  • Combine cooked pasta with the sauce and vegetables. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of heavy cream.
