  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (Quick to cook and absorb Cajun seasoning)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (For cooking the chicken)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (Key flavor enhancer)
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper (Seasoning for chicken)
  • 340 grams pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti) (Any long or short pasta)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (Base of the creamy sauce)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (Aromatic depth)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (Adds flavor to the sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (Adds smoky depth)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (Creates velvety sauce)
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth (Adds savory base)
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese (Adds umami flavor)
  • to taste Salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, optional vegetables, shrimp (For seasoning and garnish)

Instructions 

  • Season and cook the chicken in olive oil until browned, then set aside.
  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic, Cajun seasoning, and smoked paprika.
  • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, simmer until slightly thickened, then stir in Parmesan cheese.
  • Add cooked chicken and pasta to the sauce, toss to combine, then finish with lemon juice and red pepper flakes.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sautéed vegetables or substitute shrimp for chicken.
