A rich and creamy baked pasta dish combining tender chicken, al dente penne, and melted cheeses, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 2 cups cooked penne pasta

Chicken

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced into bite-sized pieces

Sauce & Cheese

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and freshly cracked black pepper

Garnish

  • for garnish fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook chicken in olive oil with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until browned, then add garlic and sauté briefly.
  • Pour in heavy cream, add Parmesan, and whisk until smooth; simmer gently.
  • Mix cooked pasta with sauce, transfer to a greased baking dish, top with mozzarella, and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Cool slightly, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half and half instead of heavy cream.
