Ingredients

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until browned and cooked through, then remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent.
  • Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Stir in orzo and cook until tender, about 8 minutes.
  • Return cooked chicken to the skillet, add heavy cream and spinach, and cook until spinach wilts and sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
