Instructions
Cook wild rice with 1/4 and 1/8 teaspoon salt in boiling water for about 45 minutes.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, add garlic and carrots, cook for 1 minute.
Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, cook for 5 minutes until done.
Stir in green peas, then add cooked wild rice to the skillet.
Pour in half and half and chicken broth, bring to a boil, then add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Adjust salt as needed.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding herbs like thyme or parsley.
