A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken in a rich, creamy sauce topped with Parmesan and herbs.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or 1 tbsp fresh thyme)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook in olive oil until golden and cooked through, then set aside.
  • Melt butter in the same skillet, add garlic, and cook until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, simmer, then add heavy cream and Parmesan, cooking until thickened.
  • Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer briefly. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
