1tbspbutter
3clovesgarlic, minced
1cupchicken broth
1cupheavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
½cupgrated Parmesan cheese
1tspdried thyme (or 1 tbsp fresh thyme)
1tbspfresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook in olive oil until golden and cooked through, then set aside.
Melt butter in the same skillet, add garlic, and cook until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, simmer, then add heavy cream and Parmesan, cooking until thickened.
Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer briefly. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
