A delicious and creamy chicken dish with Dijon mustard and herbs, perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Cook chicken in olive oil until golden, then remove and set aside.
  • Melt butter, sauté garlic, then add Dijon, broth, cream, and thyme. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, and simmer until cooked through. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Ensure not to burn the garlic for best flavor.
