A quick and flavorful chicken dish with a creamy Dijon sauce, perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup smooth Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. Sear in olive oil until golden, then set aside.
  • Sauté garlic and thyme in the same skillet for 1 minute.
  • Add chicken broth, cream, and Dijon; cook until thickened, 3-5 minutes.
  • Return chicken to skillet and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
