A rich and flavorful chicken dish with a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1.3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.3 lbs. total)
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp butter, divided
  • 1 whole garlic bulb (about 8-9 garlic cloves)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions 

  • Fillet chicken breasts into thinner cutlets and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Coat with flour.
  • Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet, cook chicken 4 mins per side until golden. Remove and keep warm.
  • Sauté smashed garlic cloves in remaining butter until fragrant, about 3 mins.
  • Add chicken broth, heavy cream, and garlic powder. Simmer until thickened, 8-10 mins.
  • Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, heat briefly, then serve. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
