Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups jasmine or basmati rice
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions 

  • Cook rice in broth according to package instructions.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cook until sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper, serve shrimp over rice, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
