A flavorful and creamy chicken dish with bright lemon and garlic notes, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Oil

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

Garlic

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Liquids and Dairy

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Herbs

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Cook chicken in olive oil 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic in the same skillet for 30 seconds.
  • Add chicken broth and lemon juice, simmer 2 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan, cook until sauce thickens, about 3 minutes. Return chicken and spoon sauce over.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or serve with steamed vegetables.
