A rich and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

(halved and dredged in flour)

mushrooms (cremini or white, sliced)

Italian seasoning

heavy/whipping cream
Instructions
Season chicken with salt & pepper, then dredge in flour.
Heat oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Melt butter, add mushrooms and Italian seasoning. Cook until mushrooms release water and sear.
Add garlic, chicken broth, lemon juice, and mustard. Simmer until reduced by half.
Stir in cream, return chicken and mushrooms. Cook until heated through and sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
Notes
Serve with rice or pasta for a complete meal.
