A delicious and creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken and sautéed mushrooms, perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
Pasta

pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your favorite)

Chicken

boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
Salt and pepper
Salt and pepper, to taste
Sauce and Vegetables

butter

mushrooms, sliced (cremini or baby bella)

garlic, minced

chicken broth

heavy cream
1/2

grated Parmesan cheese

dried thyme (optional)

Fresh parsley
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet with olive oil until golden. Remove and set aside.
Melt butter in the same skillet. Sauté mushrooms for 5–6 minutes. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Pour in chicken broth, then add cream, Parmesan, and thyme. Simmer until thickened. Return chicken and pasta, toss to coat.
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
