Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pounds boneless chicken tenders
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan
  • 1 egg beaten egg
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2-3 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1-3 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

For serving

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or oil.
  • Toss chicken with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, 2 tbsp flour, and parmesan. Add beaten egg and hot sauce, coat well.
  • Add 1/2 cup flour, paprika, and turmeric; toss to coat all pieces.
  • Arrange chicken on baking sheet, drizzle with oil or butter. Bake 15-20 minutes until crispy.
  • Make sauce by warming honey, hot sauce, cayenne, chili powder, garlic, and onion powders. Drizzle over chicken or serve on side.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for 2 minutes at the end.
