Chicken

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 2-3 tablespoons chipotle sauce (Adjust to taste)
  • to taste cilantro Fresh cilantro, chopped (For garnish)
  • to taste lime wedges Lime wedges (For serving)

Instructions 

  • Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  • Mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Coat chicken in flour mixture and fry until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  • Mix honey and chipotle sauce to make the sauce.
  • Warm tortillas, assemble with chicken, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
