Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

Dairy & Condiments

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For Serving

  • Pita bread (for serving)
  • Toppings: sliced cucumber, tomato, red onion, feta (for serving)
  • Tzatziki sauce (for serving)

Instructions 

  • Mix yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Place chicken in the slow cooker and pour marinade over top.
  • Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  • Shred or slice chicken and serve in pita bread with toppings and tzatziki.

Notes

For best flavor, let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
