A quick and flavorful chicken stir-fry packed with colorful vegetables and savory sauces, perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast, thinly sliced

Oil

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Vegetables

  • 1 red bell pepper red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper yellow bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot julienned carrot
  • 1 cup snap peas

Aromatics

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger (grated)

Garnish & Sauces

  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (mixed with water)

Other

  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and 1 tbsp soy sauce. Set aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil, stir-fry chicken 4-5 mins until cooked. Remove.
  • Sauté garlic and ginger in remaining oil for 30 seconds.
  • Add carrots, broccoli, stir-fry 2 mins. Add bell peppers, snap peas, cook 2 mins.
  • Return chicken, add soy, oyster sauces, sesame oil. Thicken sauce with cornstarch mixture. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Use fresh vegetables for best flavor. Serve over rice or noodles.
