Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 4 to 6 units Thai bird’s eye chilis (chopped)
  • 6 cloves garlic (smashed)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon fish sauce (Optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 units yellow onion (diced)
  • 4 oz green beans (cut into 1” (2.5 cm) pieces)
  • 1 bunch basil (stems removed)
  • 1 units fried eggs (Optional)
  • 1 units lime wedges (Optional)

Instructions 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Sauté garlic and chilis until fragrant, then add ground chicken and cook until browned.
  • Stir in oyster sauce, soy sauces, fish sauce (if using), and sugar.
  • Add onion and green beans; cook until tender. Remove from heat and stir in basil.
  • Serve with fried eggs and lime wedges if desired.
