Ingredients

semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, and mix.
Whisk dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Gradually add to wet mixture, then stir in 2 tbsp milk and 1.5 cups chocolate chips.
Chill dough for at least 3 hours. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), line baking sheets.
Scoop dough onto sheets, press remaining chips on top, sprinkle with sea salt if desired. Bake 12-15 minutes.
Cool cookies on sheets 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Chilling the dough enhances flavor and texture. Adjust milk as needed for consistency.
