Instructions
Beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until creamy, then add vanilla and egg, blending briefly.
Sift dry ingredients over the wet mixture using a fine mesh strainer, then stir until smooth.
Fold in oats and chocolate chips, then let the dough rest.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), line pans with parchment, and scoop dough onto pans, flattening slightly.
Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers are slightly underdone. Cool and enjoy!
