This Easy Bourbon Chicken recipe is a deliciously sweet and savory dish that comes together quickly for a weeknight dinner.

apple juice

ketchup

bourbon

Instructions
Mix cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss chicken to coat.
Heat oil in a skillet, brown chicken for 3 minutes on each side, then set aside.
Sauté garlic, add sauce ingredients, and bring to a gentle boil.
Add chicken back to sauce, simmer for 10 minutes until reduced by half.
Optional: Thicken sauce with cornstarch and water, simmer for 2 minutes.
Notes
For a kid-friendly version, substitute bourbon with additional apple juice.
